From February 2022 SAI was enabled to start a new project with 15 tiger wounded person called "Save Tiger Affected Families" (STAF). There are almost twenty survivors who have lost their ability to do any work. SAI has ensured a continuous support program for these tigers affected person to meet the needs of monthly medicine & ration, to support for their spouse’s income generation program and education of their children.

In the twenty first century also, people of Sundarban are forced to go to Jungle for collecting fish, honey, crabs etc for their survival. We have noticed that in almost 95% of all the cases they succumbed to death due to attack from tiger. But those who survived the tiger's attack, they ultimately become very weak and even loose ability to do any work. Some of them loose eyes, hands or legs and some faces difficulty in the nervous system. Especially when the poison of tiger's teeth and nails gets entered into the body, they feel extreme pain. So, it is almost impossible to run their livelihood properly and take care of their own families. Moreover, to meet the expenses of monthly medicine, it is an unthinkable fight. This situation become so pathetic that sometimes survivors go for suicide.
